Liminal Wild
The print and art shop of Liminal East.
I have always been in the inbetween. I am a Midwest transplant that has been away too long to be from there yet not long enough to be from here. My dad was born in Macedonia while my mom can trace her American roots back to colonial times. I am a nature enthusiast whose day job keeps her tethered to the indoors and I am as equally intrigued by math and science as I am by art and nature.
Into the Wild we go, to explore the connections between it all. My compositions look to combine the engineered and the organic while my style is inspired by the histories of both my past and present. I am inspired by my graphic design training, the slavic patterns of my Eastern European heritage, and the work of the Folly Cove Designers.
I carefully plan each block, knowing that the imperfect nature of carving and printing will soften any overly technical decision I make. Each print is designed, carved on a linoleum block, and handprinted by me in my home studio.
